Having already dropped two trailers, the subsequent transfer for Prime Video’s adaptation of the wildly standard Fallout video games is to share an precise scene from an episode—and it’s picked a great one, showcasing the post-apocalyptic setting and dynamics between three key characters: Ella Purnell’s greenhorn-with-a-gun Lucy; Walton Goggins’ bounty hunter, the Ghoul; and a well-armed member of the Brotherhood of Metal.
It seems like these three sides are going to have quite a bit to reckon with as Fallout progresses. As Prime Video’s official description reads, “Based mostly on one of many best online game collection of all time, Fallout is the story of haves and have-nots in a world during which there’s virtually nothing left to have. 2 hundred years after the apocalypse, the mild denizens of luxurious fallout shelters are pressured to return to the irradiated hellscape their ancestors left behind—and are shocked to find an extremely advanced, gleefully bizarre, and extremely violent universe ready for them.”
Together with Purnell and Goggins, Fallout stars Aaron Moten, Moisés Arias, Kyle MacLachlan, Sarita Choudhury, Michael Emerson, Leslie Uggams, Frances Turner, Dave Register, Zach Cherry, Johnny Pemberton, Rodrigo Luzzi, Annabel O’Hagan, and Xelia Mendes-Jones. It was created by Kilter Movies and Jonathan Nolan and Lisa Pleasure (who know a factor or two in regards to the bizarre frontier, having made Westworld). All eight episodes arrive April 11, worldwide on Prime Video.
